I finished the cutest pouch ever. Just 3.5" x 5.5" tiny, and totally paper pieced. You can fit 3 nail polish in there, just perfect in time for our vacation in 3 days. My girls will love it when they wake up tomorrow morning.

It was a bit quiet over here, but this doesnt mean that I was lazy. Its just quite hot over here, and sewing is not the best thing in this season. Also I had to bring my sewing machine to service, makes me totally sad, but she was acting really weird and I couldnt handle it anymore. But in the meantime my swap partner got her package and so I finally can reveal my new pattern "Whirlwind". When I asked my husband what I should sew for our home next, he had a really strange request. He wanted a quilted pillow case, I started to sketch mine out, with Churn Dashes, but he wasnt really happy with the design, so the Churn Dash pillow case is now mine and I really love it. Then I found a cute cassette pattern, enlarged it quite a lot to fit a pillowcase and started my secret sewing for him. I knew he loves retro things, so it was just perfect. And when I put them on our pillows today, he really loved them. Couldnt make me happier.
