As the celebrated its 150th anniversary this year, I can’t help but look back at one of the projects closest to my heart.
In 2017, during my training at Herbststrasse in Vienna, I created this costume — a piece that has stayed with me ever since and has been shown repeatedly in various exhibitions.
And this year brought an unexpected honor: My costume was photographed for the exhibition “Kopf & Kragen. Münzen machen Mode” at the and even made it into the official exhibition publication.
Seeing my work represented in such a renowned museum fills me with so much pride!! 🥹🥹

You may not see every stitch in the end, but a handmade jacket ist full of careful, skilled work. It takes time, training, and a deep understanding of how fabric moves and fits the body. This is a craft I’m still mastering, and every project gives me the chance to learn and grow.

As the season draws ever closer, here is a brief review of the past year.
Firstly, the famous production of „Jedermann“ and secondly, the children’s opera „Das Kind und die Zauberdinge“.

Finally on Saturday I’ll be back at the sewing machine in Salzburg and I’m really looking forward to it.

I experienced an unexpected emotional rollercoaster when I handed over this wedding suit in August. Two people who have found each other and I was able to play my part in this wonderful day. Lisa & Christoph wholeheartedly appreciate the work, pay attention to the little things and see and feel the love in the details. A wonderful journey that I was able to experience while working on this suit! I'm sure this has been evident throughout your wedding and I'm so happy that you have found each other and can look into the future as a little family.

Finally showing you my first wedding suit of this year for the wedding of M&M.
Mirjam, our paths crossed at the corridors of the university, where we shared not only knowledge, but also dreams, tears, despair but largely hope. It is a true honor to make this custom wedding suit for such a dear friend and her Mister M, who has also grown very close to my heart over the past few years. Who would have thought it when all three of us danced through Berlin together in the late summer of 2019..thank you again for your trust and allowing me to make your vision, dear M, a reality and thank you for letting me be part of your special day, not only as a tailor but also as a guest - it was truly magical.
May your and our journey together be full of happiness, love and more adventures.
