This collection is an homage to Eugène Le Moult’s wardrobe. A proud man born on the breton coast whose passion for catching butterflies carried him overseas aboard the Flandre. He would travel dressed in his nautical attire, which we are interpreting in our Spring/Summer 2026 collection Océan.

Astral maps are a primary tool in Celestial Navigation; the practice of using stars to position oneself in relation to Earth. This ancient technique was used by sailors as far back as 4000 years ago.

Celestial maps have travelled to us from ancient times: constellations painted on the cave walls of Lascaux, star clusters meticulously engraved into metal during the Bronze Age and leaving their marks on the minds of Ancient Egyptians, creating Ramesside star clocks.

People have lived and moved with the marvellous constellations long before the first rocket was sent into space, as it were, it was the sailors who always looked up into the sky, with their feet swinging on the waves of open waters.

Today, you can wear their knowledge on your sleeves.

A celestial globe from the 1880s by the Institut Géographique de Paris, now kept at , was one of the inspirations for our Astral collection.

The poetic imagery of the illustrated sky with its hand-drawn zodiac signs and constellations was reinterpreted in the prints for our pyjamas, robes, jackets, and long nightshirts. The whole Astral collection can be found on our website.
