Astral maps are a primary tool in Celestial Navigation; the practice of using stars to position oneself in relation to Earth. This ancient technique was used by sailors as far back as 4000 years ago.
Celestial maps have travelled to us from ancient times: constellations painted on the cave walls of Lascaux, star clusters meticulously engraved into metal during the Bronze Age and leaving their marks on the minds of Ancient Egyptians, creating Ramesside star clocks.
People have lived and moved with the marvellous constellations long before the first rocket was sent into space, as it were, it was the sailors who always looked up into the sky, with their feet swinging on the waves of open waters.
Today, you can wear their knowledge on your sleeves.
