Wow. ✨🤩😍

Dua Lipa and Callum Turner just got married on May 31st, and okay, I have to admit, I absolutely love her wedding look. 🤍

The moment I saw the oversized hat and the ivory tailoring, my mind went straight to Bianca Jagger arriving at her wedding in Saint-Tropez in 1971 in that legendary Yves Saint Laurent suit.

This is not a copy, neither a vintage reproduction, it’s more like a little nod across fifty years of bridal fashion.

The Schiaparelli look feels sharper, more sculpted, more couture. But the spirit feels very familiar: confident, unconventional and impossible to forget.

Well, some bridal looks are beautiful, but some become references. 💁🏻‍♀️

Almost year ago, I made this dress for Eli. Looking back at it today, I realized how much it reflects what I still love most about my work: the combination of creativity and craftsmanship.

I came across a beautiful interpretation of Karl Marx‘s idea:
“In a truly human form of work, I would objectify my individuality… and enjoy not only my own life but also bring joy to others.”

The idea is simple: through our work, we leave a little part of ourselves behind. And when that work brings joy to someone else, there is joy for us too.

Sorry if this sounds a little philosophical. I’m Vietnamese, we grew up learning about Karl Marx in school. 😄
