These rare solid oak lounge chairs called ‘Siegfried’ by Abraham Sprij for his Dutch company Sprij Meubelen, mid 1960s are in good condition and ready to being used. They are sturdy, yet quirky and comfortable and more playful than the beautiful pieces by likeminded designers Guillerme et Chambron. The solid oak used for the throne-like frame wonderfully contradicts the softness of the newly upholstered cushions - originally upholstered in hefty, dark leather.
