Haider Ackermann SS20 Babouche in Green Python

One of our favorite footwear sillhouettes from Haider deeply rooted in his personal style. This pair is inspired by traditional babouche slippers and classic Venetia loafer. The soft leather insole and thin runner outsole make this pair insanely comfortable. Crafted from real python leather in a perfect green shade adds a luxurious touch without being tacky.

A perfect example of Haider’s signature swagger that we love so much.

Haider Ackermann FW17 Polka Dot Silk Jacquard Bomber

One of our favorites from the upcoming drop.

This bomber was introduced for FW17, yet it could just as easily belong to Haider‘s recent Tom Ford era, which prominently features a similar polka-dot aesthetic all through the collections.

The jacket comes in a cropped cut with boxy shoulders. The dots are embroidered onto the silk fabric, adding beautiful texture. The same fabric was also used for a full suit on the runway of Haider‘s FW17 show. Finished with a quilted silk lining for an extra luxurious touch.

Maison Margiela SS15 Artisanal Bomber Jacket

An exceptional piece from Maison Margiela’s SS15 collection. Although released under the MM10 line, the official name of thise jacket is ,,Artisanal Bomber“ and it perfectly captures the spirit of Margiela’s iconic deconstructed creations.

Constructed from panels of four different jackets sourced from the Maison’s archive, it combines silk, leather, cotton and wool into a single garment. Signature details include an opened back waistband creating an elongated silhouette, asymmetrical sleeves, and a classic varsity-style snap button front.

We are excited to present a new show at Backyardarchive. “Nie wieder Arbeiten” is a duo show by Martin Fink and Luis Kogler, which showcases a young and self-aware approach to contemporary painting, moving between desire, irony and exhaustion. Borrowing visual languages from symbolism, luxury culture and everyday imagery, the exhibition reflects on fantasies of financial freedom and the contradictions of artistic labour.

Born in Austria, Dominik is an interdisciplinary artist whose work navigates the intersections of memory, history, and the human experience. Fusing traditional materials with modern techniques, including acrylic lacquers, cold enamels, and sculptural elements, his practice continually pushes the boundaries of painting. Rooted in childhood memories and adult reflections, he explores themes of humor, chaos, and surreal distortion, creating works of emotional depth and visual complexity.

Through his lens, he transforms fragments of history into narratives that bridge the personal and the universal, offering audiences a tactile and immersive experience.
