fur refinery. enVie M78 Mink Parka, as well the “transfurmer hood”.

Green Fur Couture is the transformation of upcycled
bespoke fur.
enVie [« ooohwie »] coming from the french and stands for “to fancy something”, as well to envy someone… moreover the venue of enVie is literally in Vienna. The true enVie „fury tale“ started, when Nina and furrier Marcel Jouja found each other in May 2012. The f

irst Fur Recycling experiment started with an original used army tent & military jacket, a black glama mink coat & leftovers from canadian lynx fur: That was the beginning of the Masterpiece a.k.a. Not only Nina & Marcel loved the result, luckily many others did too. Soon after, they started cooperating with hunters and vintage fur traders in Austria and Germany, from where they source the (pre-existing) fur material. The enVie fur recycling service has become more & more successful, so they outsourced their fur production to a family manufacture in Italy. They sell ready-to-wear Parkas for women, men and children from stock, but as well more and more people come with their own “old furs” to get a customized fur parka or any other enVie GREEN FUR COUTURE piece.

— Crafted from a basic pattern and modified based on a handful of measurements, these Parkas / Coats / Jackets etc take time to be made. You will still try them on when they arrive to make final adjustments. More expensive than most ‚off the rack‘ clothing, prices will vary based on the fabric & fur chosen.

These garments are infinitely more expensive, as the craftsmanship requires a very high level of skill and the attention of hand sewers — the ultimate in real luxury. And yes, again, the fabric plays a big part of the investment.
We often meet people who have bespoke garments that are still in service 35 years later. Fine craftsmanship and quality fabrics & fur make this possible.

Oh wow — what a transFURmation: a classic zobelino from the 80ies upcycled into a true „rockeFELLer“ M78 Parka — wearable from both sides. The champagne colored outershell cover (very light and waterproof!) matches so sensationally with the light gray sables (tips) 🩶

The forecast for fall/winter 2023 is overcast, cloudy, and moody. And we couldn’t be more excited — it‘s all about a multi shades of GRAY color palette this season, thanks to a whole host of designers featuring the conservative and calming hue in their fall/winter collections.

One great thing about gray is that the reliable hue works so well with a myriad of different neutrals and color. Plus any gray shades are guaranteed to give any outfit a chic and polished touch.
