Our Story

YAGA was founded by Yasmin Proksch & Gabriel Roland in late 2014 whilst they where both studying Textile Design at the University of Derby in England.

In late 2016 Yasmin took over YAGA as her own and replaced Rolaminate with recycled leather, sourcing offcuts from a German manufacturer. Together with her Grandmother, who is sewing almost every piece by hand, she's running the business since. Since 2018 we added a whole collection using vegetable tanned leather from Italy as the main material for our designs.
