Date: Saturday, 19th September 2026
Time: 10:30 am – 12:30 pm (2-hour session)
Venue: Prospect Library, Irish Harp Room 1
Address: 128 Prospect Rd, Prospect SA 5082

All materials are provided: You will receive Sashiko fabric (with a pre-drawn Asanoha pattern), Sashiko thread, a needle, interfacing, and a display frame.

Customization: You will get to choose your fabric and thread from a variety of beautiful colours.

By the end of the session, you will have completed a lovely 12cm x 12cm piece, framed and ready to display proudly in your home. Whether you are a total beginner or an experienced stitcher, you'll love the soothing rhythm of this traditional craft.

Sashiko Brooch Workshop - Discover the precision and elegance of Hitome-zashi (one-stitch Sashiko). Unlike traditional Sashiko patterns, this technique follows a grid to reveal intricate geometric patterns. In this workshop, you will master the Kome-zashi (Rice Stitch) pattern—a design that resembles the Japanese kanji for rice.

New Session - Thank you so much for the incredible response to the SASHIKO Basic workshop. The first session booked out very quickly, and I am so grateful for your support.

For those who missed out, I am pleased to share that an additional session has now been added.
If you would like to join us for a peaceful morning learning the soothing rhythm of traditional Japanese functional stitching, the details for the new session are below.

In this focused 2 hour session, we will explore the beautiful, geometric ASANOHA (H**p Leaf) pattern - a traditional symbol of health and resilience.
