Many years ago, I painted this wall in my study/studio. It was inspired by a stationery line from Target. It was not my usual colour palette, but something drew me to it. I even painted a matching table.

Next week, the carpet is coming out, and floorboards are going in, so at the same time, we are getting most of the house repainted professionally. This is being painted over, ready for a new beginning. Part of me isn't ready to see it go. Maybe it's because I haven't quite chosen what to do with it yet (secretly thinking of spending $$$ on .rainbow wallpaper) or maybe it is because painting over it means a redesign of the space that I'm not ready for. It's just paint, right??? Or is it? I don't spend enough time in here anymore and it used to feed my soul. Maybe the wall isn't what needs changing...

It's been a crazy last 3 months for me with the of end of school year and hence very quiet on the making front but I'm still here!

I start a new role in 2022 so working out how to keep this little outlet of mine in flow so I can destress from my busy work world. New things are coming....

Happy Birthday !!!! One year ago today I launched my little side hustle, a creative outlet to share my art out of the pages of my art journals. Painting is my way to destress from the demands of my job and life in general.

My releases were limited and I ended up making earrings too, but this was never about pumping out product and making sales. I love being able to make wearable art and do a happy dance every time someone resonates with a piece and makes a purchase.
