LUVU Menswear was founded in 2020 to give Men across Australia and the world a support outlet for those of us struggling with mental health issues such as depression, anxiety and low self esteem.
Mental health for men is a huge issue, with statistics showing that men are 3 times more likely to commit su***de compared to women, along with 1 in 7 men experiencing some type of mental health issue every year.
The mission for LUVU is to not only raise awareness to the issue of menβs mental health, but to create a support system for men, something they can wear everyday to remind them that this battle is strong in numbers, and that their mental health problems are not bigger than themselves.
Studies show a simple phrase or written affirmation can have a positive effect on your mental health, so now you can wear it every day!
LUVU clothing has a range of items, such as underwear, jumpers, tees and wristbands, each with a different colour signifying a different affirmation.
