A customer came by on the weekend and said something so out of character I left the shop and stopped him to ask if he was ok. He cried in my arms and told me that the simple question of if he was ok stopped him from doing something stupid. He wept like a child, spirit completely broken to thank me. I arrived to work this morning with this little gift that he left for me spelling out the word HOPE. It’s no coincidence that this was once his childhood toy and that he thought so much of what had occurred two days before that he would give me something as precious as this. My HOPE is that we all get the chance to cry in the arms of someone who really cares for our wellbeing and that a simple act of basic humanity helps us reconnect to the child that just wants to be happy and free

This little girl was nothing but love. This is the morning of her passing, ready to snuggle in bed even as her body slowly started to betray her. I hope everyone gets to experience the kind of love that we did from this bundle of love. Fly little Livvy. ❤️❤️❤️
