I feel very honoured to get an award, the standard of all our local artists' work is excellent this year. :)

Congratulations to Shana Gelin, winner of the 2026 Overall Second Prize 🎬✨

Sponsored by Boss Building, this incredible $1500 prize was awarded for Shana’s original music video, “Thanks for All the Queries.”

Taking close to one year to create, the work impressed the judge who described it as:

“This is a mesmerizing work that uses and challenges AI. It is a highly relevant work in today’s world. Whilst using AI it also questions it and raises a whole lot of questions about our use of AI. At the same time it has a powerful movement and story.”

This thought-provoking and visually powerful work has become a major talking point throughout the exhibition.

You still have until Sunday 31st at 12 noon to visit the exhibition and experience this incredible piece for yourself. Congratulations Shana!

We've put a new lamp at The Other Place. Hope you like it. Benchmarc Designs made the frame with steam bent Tasmanian Blackwood. Felt Up at Agnes Water wet felted the bamboo inspired lampshade. All made locally here at Agnes Water. :)
