Repairs to 'special' items.
Children get attached to certain things, like we all do so sometimes surgery is necessary to keep them in order.
They go home with band aids on so they know they were cared for in the 'clinic'.

I had a pair of jeans to hem, looked at the bobin with the grey jeans thread I needed for the job mmmmmm I wonder if there's enough on there to finish both legs....... yes, I think so. Well, you can guess right sometimes, with 10cm left on there on completion. Iv timed it closer than that before now and a little less on the odd occasion lol.
