Just popped this little reminder under the hem of this quoll shirt this morning!

It looks like it’s upside down, but it’s actually so if the little wearer needs a little pick me up at anytime when wearing it, she can flip the hem up and see this little tag chosen just for her, by her dad 💜

What started as a way of identifying between two shirts of the same size for two sisters, has turned in to the cutest little hidden surprise - I may have to make this a thing!

A gorgeous little fishy shirt for a little beach lover in our life!

Absolutely love this Inklings and the Kraken Fabrics Australia fabric! This reef series, as well as the Aussie animals fabrics, are some of the most vibrant and beautiful fabrics I’ve ever worked with!

The recent bird and dog bags are made with Inklings canvas :)

It’s been a bit quiet at The Loose Goose lately as my real job has been a bit busy and now I’m on my way overseas.

A few quick last-minute sews yesterday before leaving, including this grocery bag 🦅

I love these wide base canvas bags as you can stand shopping items up in the bottom of them!

This little 2 year old shirt has the cutest wombat to match his wombatty sleeves!

We have two wombat species in NSW - the bare-nosed wombat and the southern hairy-nosed wombat!

Female wombats have rear facing pouches so when they’re digging in their burrows, their offspring (a joey!) doesn’t get covered in dirt and her pouch stays clean!

For round 3 of our Aussie animals shirts is the gorgeous shirt with gliders on it!

I absolutely love Greater Gliders - they are the biggest of our gliders and can glide up to 100m at a time! Their tail acts like a rudder, when they fly it helps them steer - and it’s longer than their body!!

Sadly Greater Gliders are endangered, and as they live in trees large hollows, we need to protect older timber stands to help these guys out!

Rolling on with our Aussie animals themed shirts is the Tassie Devil!

Did you know there’s a population of devils in the Barrington Tops (near Scone, NSW)!

Unfortunately our Tassie Devils are facing an uphill battle due to face cancers so external populations like the one in Barrington Tops will make sure we have healthy devils so they hopefully never face extinction.

Loving the Aussie animals tees that have been on my sewing priority list over the last few weeks!

This guy is a quoll and is my favourite Australian species! We have Spotted-tailed Quolls around Armidale which are a mighty native predator 🙂
