Always an honour to replace plastic tape on a Professors belt with cotton tape.

Rolling is hard on belts so I always add an adhesive too. But don't worry, I don't wash away the knowledge unless specifically asked to complete a strip wash.

Happy with this repair - tear in a Hyperfly Australia gi, along the lapel and coming across the chest. It was Daniel's favourite so I just had to save it.

The tear was handsewn closed
Inside the gi I made a patch out of rip stop fabric
To protect the stitching I then made patches out of cotton tape and sewed those on before sewing the lapel back together.

Working on another Hyperfly Australia gi. This one had a tear in the fabric that ran right along the lapel. I have trimmed it, handsewn it closed and will patch over it with rip stop fabric to protect the stitching
