I’m working on a new project, I do lots of rough sketches to work out what I feel is balanced and if it feels “right”. This judgemental pair in my rough work have caught my attention. I think they have beef with the current situation! It was also pointed out to me that the female can look 👀 both ways! That was not part of my initial thought process.

I was my own client.
My brief was to make a map that spoke about a journey and the energy that goes with moving from place to place. My art maps are not 100% to scale but they are more than a GPS in their own way. My use of a night sky to replace images of Country is to help bring focus on the places significant to me. I LOVE being able to travel outside of what is familiar to me and look up and see the familiar stars on other peoples Country. Here are some pictures of my process. It’s so much harder drawing on small smooth paper compared to the rough wall. I need to try and get some colour fix to prep the surface and see if it helps. It’s been quite fun doing the wall art. I guess I hoped to do some that can be kept. Hmmmmmm
