I’ve decided to take a few days off since this week is a short one. Yes it’s late notice but my husband didn’t have to twist my arm much knowing how tired I am.
I will also be taking a few other days off during January to be a grandma and help out during school holidays.
You can still drop your repairs into the haymarket. Just make sure they are in a chaff bag and fill out the drop off form.

If you have a difficult to fit horse it is a cost effective option to buy one of these rugs and I can adjust it to fit for you.

I deal with hairy rugs, those covered in manure, those that stink or have dead mice and droppings in them and covered in mud.
I have to clean them before doing any repairs. This means removing all loose debris before washing and I charge accordingly.

These things I don’t mind and are part of my service.

What I do not like is pulling rugs out of a bag and finding big black poisonous spiders crawling around. I do not need to miss work due to being sick from a spider bite. Please please before bringing rugs to me could you check them for spiders. Thank you in advance 😊☺️

Quality over price?????
What do u choose. I often use an illustration with customers comparing shoes to rugs.
If you are intending to walk everyday and be an avid exerciser you would go to a place like athletes foot. Get fitted properly and pay the $200 price tag instead of the Kmart $10 pair cause you know they are going to last.
If you just need a pair of cute shoes to go with your outfit knowing you probably won’t wear them again especially cause they are not comfortable, but look good then the Kmart ones will do.

It’s the same with horse rugs (to a point)remembering that brands aren’t everything. Do your research. Talk to your friends. Feel the rugs in the store, check the stitching.
If you are going to have your horse for a long time then invest in quality. Because it will save you in the long term.
Everyone has favourite brands but over the years I have seen many trusted brands cut corners and their quality has fallen, just to save $$$$$.
It’s their loss in the end because they will loose their good reputation. Below is just one example of a new rug that has fallen below par. The leg strap has not much to anchor it to the rug so it won’t hold under stress. This happened on both sides.

Also note
Not all top price rugs are not perfect but they do have warranties so exchange away till you get a good one. Cheaper rugs or the cheaper end of the scale of brands do not have warranties so read the fine print.
