Young Tasmanian couple Holly and Jaye saw that quality hats were lacking in the market. With a dream to start their own business, they saw this niche as an opportunity and took a chance on launching luxury Tasmanian hat brand Mason Hats. Holly always adored hats, but struggled to find the right one with a good sized brim, a flattering shape and made using quality materials. With Holly's parents ow

ning a fashion label focusing on merino wool, she knew that this fibre was incredible quality and wanted her hats made from Australian Merino. Fortunately her grandmother, a renowned milliner in Western Australia, meant the hat making genes were in the family and set off on making her own range. Jayes problem was that he could never find a hat he liked, and if he did he would struggle with sizing. On many occasions he and his mates would search for the perfect male hat to no avail, but options were limited to none. So, with Jayes business skills and Holly's passion for designing, the business begun. With a strong focus on luxury, quality, sizing options, local employment and classic designs we are proud of our range.
