Toy review: Jet Pilot Interactive Dashboard 🧑‍✈️✈️

An absolute hit for a 15 month old but older kids would love it too!

We loved pushing buttons and twisting the k***s, it was great for encouraging dexterity. Favourite feature was a radio button that played music from around the world. The yoke copped a workout daily and it's definitely a toy we will revisit.

Age recommendation: ability to push buttons and possibly standing onwards

Noise level: very acceptable, nothing too pitchy👌

🎉 New Membership Options at Beechworth Toy Library! 🎉

We’ve listened to your feedback and are excited to introduce two membership tiers, making it even easier for families to borrow toys that suit their needs.

🧸 Tier 1 – $40 per year
• Borrow up to 5 toys at a time
• Loan period of up to 3 weeks
• Plus an additional 1-week grace period/extension if you need a little longer

🚀 Tier 2 – $70 per year
• Borrow up to 8 toys at a time
• Same 3-week loan period with an additional 1-week grace period/extension
• Perfect for families with multiple children or those who love having a bigger variety of toys at home!

Whether you’re looking to keep playtime fresh, reduce clutter, or try before you buy, we’ve got a membership to suit your family.

We can’t wait to see you at the Toy Library! 💛

🎧 Yoto Mini is here and ready to borrow!

The Yoto Mini is a screen-free audio player for kids—think stories, music and podcasts, all without needing a phone or tablet. Kids simply pop in a Yoto card, press the buttons, and they’re in control of what they listen to 🙌

We also now have 15+ Yoto cards available, all compatible with your own Yoto Player at home too. It’s a great way to introduce your child to audiobooks and music they can control themselves—while saving your Spotify playlists from going too deep into Disney and nursery rhymes 😉

Cards are kept in the front room—just ask your BTL volunteer if you’d like to take a look (or try out the new board)!

🚀 Also new this week!
Our Stapelstein Balance UFO Board is landing in the library today! A fun, open-ended piece for balance, coordination and active play—perfect for little movers who love to climb, wobble and explore.

We’re so sorry that the Toy Library was unexpectedly closed this morning. We understand this may have been inconvenient and appreciate your patience and understanding.

To make up for it, we’ll be open tomorrow (Sunday 3rd May, 10-11am) instead. We’d love to see you then!
