Hi 👋 friends,

I just needed to get this off my chest. Now firstly I have nothing against Kmart 🩷 BUT...

Please don't come to a handmade market, pick up my handmade bows, ignore me when I ask, 'How are you', turn your nose up in disgust, throw (yes threw) my bows across the table and say, 'I can get these for less than half the price at Kmart'.

That's funny, I don't recall Kmart becoming one of my new stockists 🤔

Yes Kmart stock children's hair accessories.

But are they handmade in someone's home by one person with care and attention to detail or mass produced in a factory overseas?

I'm not forcing anyone to buy my bows and a majority of my beautiful customers truly appreciate the time and effort I put in, not only making my pieces that are unique but also as durable as possible. They are more than happy to pay for that but for two ladies that came to my table yesterday and did what they did, this was my reaction. Please don't diss HANDMADE. If you don't wish to buy it then simply move on, respect my products and don't throw them across the table. That's all ✌️

It's Friday! What a week, or should I say fortnight, whilst my husband was away for work I was flying solo and hanging by a thread!

I'm so excited as today is a massive day of bow making to prepare for my market tomorrow Watch this space for sneak peaks today!

Hello Sunday 👋

I've been a little MIA this past week, solo parenting until the end of next week which has been hard. Today we're up early for soccer and then grocery shopping. Then I'll be getting crafty and making some new pieces.

Next Saturday I'll be at my regular market (Barwon Heads) and I'm going to be working on some new pieces for the website!
