SO TRUE!
It costs $0 to say hi back to a baby.
If a little one waves at you in the grocery store, smiles from the cart, or proudly says “hi” in passing, they’re not bothering you.
They’re learning how to be human.
They’re practicing connection.
Confidence.
Kindness.
And when they get ignored?
You can literally see the confusion on their face.
So if a baby says hi to you in public… say hi back.
It’s not hard.
But to them, it’s everything.
