Received this beautiful 18ct yellow gold,Emerald and Diamond ring from Queensland for repair.
It was missing a baguette diamond and needed to be enlarged 4 sizes. They had taken it to jewellers locally but were told they couldn’t do it. The problem is to solder on a new prong to reset the diamond and add gold into the band to enlarge it generates to much heat and would damage the beautiful Emerald. As the Emerald is bezel set removing it is very difficult without damaging the setting or the stone. As I have a laser welder I was able to do the repairs without generating the heat that would cause damage.
Result very happy owner with a beautiful ring they can now wear.

Have been making a special ring over the last couple of days.My eldest Daughter inherited a worn out ring that was missing a diamond from my Mother when she passed away. She wanted to preserve the ring as a keepsake so she asked me if i could make a replica that she was able to wear. We are both really happy with the result.
