The family believed plus size women deserved greater choice when it came to clothing. As is the case with most families each member had their own individual style. These individual styles were incorporated into the business. This allowed Dale and Waters to offer a great range of plus size clothing for any occasion. The business quickly grew and soon there were Dale and Waters boutiques set up thro

ughout Australia. During the eighties Dale and Waters saw a need to provide their particular range of clothing to more remote areas of Australia. In order to realise this dream a mail order operation was launched and catalogues began being sent out. Mail to Order catalogues were launched and the customers responded so well that all but one boutique in Perth remained open. In 2006 as demand for quality clothing grew around Australia, Dale and Waters closed their final boutique to concentrate solely on mail order. As Dale and Waters continued to meet the needs of their customers, the business grew and grew. Throughout Dale and Waters’ history there has been a consistent focus on quality. To ensure the Dale and Waters standard is met the majority of the clothing is manufactured in Australia under Dale and Waters’ exclusive Label Hodgson.
