Although I have been crafting since I could hold a needle straight, as a 6 years old, it is only after a few months of maternity leave that I started playing with the idea of making this passion into a small business venture. As a mum, I thoroughly enjoy getting personalised gifts for my little one and realised I was not the only one. From a cheerful stuffed friend, to customised nursery decor, no
t forgetting quirky & unique accessories, I decided to put my crafty hands at work to repeat this experience for all parents & well-meaning gift-givers. I am more than happy to take in suggestions and adapt any order to suit your personal needs and wishes. I am only starting in the wonderful world of Etsy but like all Etsy sellers, I am passionate and love being able to do what I enjoy from home, while looking after my gorgeous son (& soon-to-be newborn). I have made many toys & baby accessories over the years. My love for sock toys started with patterns designed by Craft Schmaft (available on Etsy), but all the items sold on PetitesMerveillesOz are entirely my own, designed through a process of careful trial & error, using real-life guinea pigs (willing children). The name "Les Petites Merveilles" (the Little Wonders) came as the obvious choice. Every day that I get to look at my son, I am in awe of this little person, growing & learning all these amazing things. As soon as I was expecting, all I wanted to make was to provide him with unique toys & accessories fit for his wonderfully blooming personality. Besides, I have always been told that my name - Alice - destined me to live in Wonderland.
