We can tell you! Sandfree beach towels are made of a certain fabric that means wet or dry sand won't stick to it like a normal towel. Here's where we get a bit technical!
Why is this fabric so special? Most sandfree beach towels are made of microfiber, as it is smooth to touch and helps to repel the sand as the grains of sand don't get stuck. Our towels are made of 86% recycled water bottles which are then broken down into pellets, melted and remade into microfiber.
Another reason our towels are great at repelling sand is because we have woven the fibers into a tight waffle construction. This looks like little textured squares when you look close up at the towel. This constructions prevents to the sand particles getting stuck in between the threads. It also increases the surface area of the fabric helping it dry faster.
