WHAT’S HAPPENING IN STORE
What’s happening in store is fun and eclectic vintage worn in a modern context.
Thank you to my two models, Matilda & Katie.
Matilda is my casual assistant and Katie(last two pics) is a delightful lady that I met in the shop last week.
I love the fact that she is wearing a 70s emerald green Fletcher Jones wool skirt ( sold ) with a late 30s blue and old gold robe( sold) with an Akubra hat( borrowed from her friend)
Interesting, unique, unapologetic ways of wearing vintage.
No rules.

VINTAGE IS UNIQUE

VINTAGE IS HOW YOU WEAR IT

Just look at these cool cats in all sorts of eras.
That black lace dress is from the 1920s worn with a 1920s silk embroidered coat (both sold)

The green velvet hat is from the 1940s (sold)

The Cornelius full length mink coat is from the 80s (new in)

The navy wool sailor pants are from 1940s WWII (sold)

The sky blue quilted jacket is from the 80s worn with the model’s own vintage yellow skirt and vintage sweater

The red mini dress is from the 60s worn with her own hat (sold)

The dead stock red wool sweater is from the early 60s worn with incredible 70s wool pants (both sold)

The green felt hat is from 1957 (sold)

The grey and red wool hat is from the 1950s

The stunning lace top is Edwardian from c.1910 (sold) teamed with a newly made petticoat/skirt with old lace (still available)

The stunning red strapless dress is from the 1950s (still available)

The blue raw silk jacket is from the 1960s teamed with the model’s own jeans(sold)

The silk ivory hand embroidered nightgown is from the early 1940s (sold)

The last pic is me in the middle wearing a 1940s blue/purple dressing gown with a 1920s bow dress clip

Thank you to all of these amazing models who are all young, funky and who all look very cool in vintage!

OPENING NIGHT OF 2026.
Thank you to all of the fun on opening night.
So lovely to see familiar faces ( and husband Daniel ) who are my lovely customers from Canberra and it is always lovely to meet new customers as well.
Thank you to Angela who brought me a bunch of sunflowers (no pic) but they really brightened my day.
