Subway tiles have been used since the New York underground stations 🚉 (hence the name), but have paved their way into the new millenium. We can understand why!

They have a sleek simplicity to them that isn’t only restricted to Victorian homes, but can be adapted to contemporary, modern living areas. Ideally paired with darker floor tile colours, they can create striking visual contrast. A particularly popular choice as splash backs and in bathrooms 🛀

One of our favourites is Half Moon Bay located in Black Rock. Its name is derived from its crescent shape and is a gorgeous beach, with a jetty and prime lookout spots along the cliff edge. Whilst we are all familiar with the buzz of an Australian summer, winters are just as great. The spectacular sky shows are still on, just with far less people.
