Young children play messy and grow fast, so inexpensive + poor quality clothes seems like the solution... but I haven't personally found that to be true π€·πΌββοΈ Ethical & environmental perspectives aside, I find that having fewer (high quality) clothing items in practical styles just works better for my son.
Case in point, he only has ONE pair of shoes () π΄ Not only does this reduce the toddler related clutter in our home π‘π£ but having the one quality pair means he's comfortable and they always look good. Well made items just hold up better to the rigors of toddler life! Granted, we do live in a climate where sandals can be worn all year round but... you get the gist π
