Our latest silhouette is designed with a relaxed, wide fit - creating a garment that feels modern while still respecting the heritage of denim.

Available in both selvedge and non-selvedge denim, offering choice without compromising the character of the garment.

Ten sizes are available, with custom measurements upon request. Lifetime free repairs and alterations are available for every Macrae Denim product.

Proudly made in Brisbane, Australia, using vintage industrial sewing machines - all repurposed from local factories and tailors.

A collection that signifies growth; in the garments, and in MACRAE as a brand.

The College Pleated Shorts are a natural progression from our first ever product, the School Shorts, developed with stitched pleats, bar tacks and considered construction.

The Pocket Sweatshirt marks another step forward, introducing a lighter, softer and more flexible fabric than the heavier denims, drills and twills we’ve traditionally worked with.

Our latest capsule draws from vintage college uniforms and sportswear, reworked through the MACRAE lens. Designed and made to fill a void in my current wardrobe.

Studio Sessions, Volume One (1)

The Studio Pants are designed with versatility in mind. An oversized balloon fit, with six pockets and made from our signature black drill making them easy to dress up, down, layer or make your own.

For Volume One, we paired our Studio Pants with a vintage denim jacket, colourful knitwear and a collared shirt.

The goal was to explore layering, whilst sitting somewhere between formal and casual wear.

Introducing the Fisherman Smock and Infantry Shorts.

Inspired by our love for traditional workwear and military design, these two new silhouettes continue our year-long collaboration.

The Fisherman Smock offers a relaxed approach to outerwear. Designed to be worn year-round, either as a lightweight outer layer or layered through the cooler months.

Alongside it, the Infantry Shorts reinterpret a classic tailored silhouette using deadstock Australian Desert Camouflage, bringing military fabric into a traditionally formal garment.

Custom measurements available at checkout. Each garment is made to order in Brisbane/Meanjin, Australia.

A collection centred around our love of military design.

With the world inundated with clothing, I hold reworking and upcycling close to my heart. The goal with this collection is to transform once “unwearable” garments into pieces that can exist in a contemporary wardrobe.

Alongside this release are two new products created in collaboration with JIMMY .

The Fisherman Smock was born from a desire for more interesting outerwear within the current landscape. Being a small fashion brand gives me the freedom to take risks with design and create products that may not be considered “trendy”.

Also releasing are our new Pleated Shorts, where we take a traditionally formal garment and give it our own twist. Drawing from military design and constructed using deadstock Australian Desert Camo, they represent the balance between utility and contemporary clothing.

Available June 20 at my market stall with FASHION THRIFT SOCIETY .
