A little peek behind the scenes... ✨

These sketches and moodboars are the starting point for my latest collection, inspired by the season of motherhood I'm currently living in.

I'm designing pieces that make you feel comfortable, beautiful and supported through every stage:

As I design this collection, I keep asking myself one question: what do mums actually want to wear?

POV: I'm learning to love my changing body ✨️

I'm so passionate about loving the bodies we are in but this time around for pregnancy I found the self doubt and self consciousness creeping in.

Shopping for maternity clothing was underwhelming honestly, so I got busy behind the sewing machine and made a few new outfits (that I will share on here soon...)

It's amazing the difference it made in how I feel!  Instead of thinking "nothing fits me" now I am excited to reach for these outfits and style this precious bump 🤰

So it got me thinking would you be interested in a maternity section on the website... comfy but cute loungewear and maybe some new nursing bralette designs? A resizing service so you can wear the designs for pregnancy and post partum? Let me know your thoughts! 💕

But if I had to pick just one from Midnight Collection it would be the Ramona lace flares.

I’m such a sucker for a lingerie-as-outerwear moment, and this look feels like the perfect mix of sultry and wearable. The lace flares bring all the drama while still feeling like something you could wear for your next girls’ night, date night, or mum’s night out 💋

Honestly, this is exactly what I’d wear for my next mum’s night out… before baby #2 arrives of course!

Something I’m always asked is, “Where do you find your inspiration?” and my answer is always the same… beautiful fabrics.

The Amelia robe and babydoll are the perfect example of this. While designing my collection for Melbourne Fashion Festival, I was searching for the fabric that would become my “showstopper” piece. The moment I found this embellished tulle, I just knew.

The blush pink instantly stole my heart (because honestly… what’s not to love about blush pink?) but it was the tiny details that really made me fall in love - the 3D floral motifs, delicate pearl beading, and the dreamy texture.

When it finally arrived, unwrapping it honestly felt like Christmas morning. I couldn’t wait to start draping it on the mannequin and dreaming up the perfect design to bring it to life.

Every collection really begins with a fabric that sparks something magical ✨
