To our beautiful El Zapato community,
The time has come to gently pause El Zapato. This message comes with so many emotions-pride, joy, and overwhelming gratitude.
What began as a fun little idea between two best friends grew into something so much more than we ever imagined. From starting out at our kitchen bench to moving into our own warehouse and collaborating with people across the globe.
El Zapato has always been a passion project at heart- a space where we could create, experiment, and share pieces we genuinely loved, from footwear to accessories. Over the past twelve years, El Zapato has grown with us as we’ve navigated life’s many ups and downs.
With this new season of life, we’ve felt the pull to slow things down, redirect our energy, and create a little more space - while still holding so much love for everything El Zapato has been.
To everyone who has supported us along the way - whether you have purchased, shared, followed, or simply been part of our world - thank you. It has meant more to us than you know.
This isn’t goodbye, but rather an exciting step in a new direction, together.
