A tip for Tuesday, from yours Truly ✨

How to tell if it’s deodorant damage!

If the underarm area of a silk garment:

* Feels brittle or weaker than surrounding fabric,
* Shows discoloration only where deodorant contacts the fabric,
* Has a stiff or crusty texture,

Accumulated sweat and antiperspirant residue are likely contributors.

How to prevent it

* Allow deodorant to dry completely before dressing.
* Use less product.
* Consider a deodorant without aluminum salts or acid if staining is a recurring problem.
* Clean silk garments promptly after wearing and spray area with a reliable odour & stain remover (Truly).
