Day 2 of the Brisbane Shoe Fair!! What a blast. I really love this time of year. All the retailers and wholesalers coming together to do what w love best - Shoes!!

Interesting times ahead!!

A new fashion cycle is buzzy for footwear, but could hurt sneaker sales. Under Armour needs turnaround time, while Adidas overspent on World Cup fever.

What a brilliant week!! Starting with the EOS and Los Cabos conference in Melbourne - and I stayed down to help Donna with Modapelle set up the collection and we welcomed our retailers into the showroom for the new collection.

I then helped set up the Urban Shoemakers W27 ranges ready to work in the Reed Trade Fair for the weekend.

Over in the Adina Hotel all of the European Shoe companies were showing their new collections - there was an abundance of great product there for all the retail stores to buy - we are so lucky.

I have had the best time talking to not only my Qld retailers but retailer’s from all over Australia and New Zealand!!

One thing I have taken from my week in Melbourne is that retailers are bloody hard workers. It’s not easy but it doesn’t matter if they own a shoe shop, a dress shop, a florist or a gift shop they all work incredibly hard to bring the best products to their customers. And to keep their staff employed and happy!

The retailers of Aus and NZ you rock!!

And don’t forget that the amazing people who import the best products for you to stock also work so hard to get their collections just right. I love what I do!!
