Oh how we adore beautiful smiles and heartwarming connections! Always in awe how our paths crossed so magically and how some crystals just find their ways into our lives. Congrats to our beautiful little carving lover in discovering a Rose Quartz French bulldog with the “I am yours to keep” label. Such a timely discovery, a lovely advance birthday gift. A Little Mystery, A Lot of Heart…

The Mystery of the Missing Skulls follows six very different young friends who come together to solve the mysterious disappearance of three crystal skulls. But beyond the mystery lies a story about friendship, courage, empathy, resilience and growing stronger through life’s challenges. Woven throughout the adventure are little pieces of wisdom that I hope will stay with readers long after the mystery is solved.

And a little reminder — our official book launch is happening this Saturday, 22 August! 🎉

The Magic Begins...

Although The Mystery of the Missing Skulls has already found its way onto the shelves of Kinokuniya Singapore, its official book launch will take place at Soul Made Oasis – the very place where the inspiration for this story first began.

Every mystery has an origin, and this one was inspired by a true event of a missing crystal skull from our crystal shop in Bunbury. To finally celebrate the book's official launch here, where all the magic began, is truly something special.

Sometime in the middle of 2025, during the cold winter in Western Australia, I felt something quietly take root within me — a seed of passion and creativity. What started as a small idea slowly grew over ten months of daily nurturing and writing, from conceptualisation to the birth of this “secret” project. Towards the end, it wasn’t easy. I struggled with writer’s block while trying to conclude the story. Jet can definitely attest to that — she patiently listened to me grumble about having no inspiration for the ending. Even till the last minute, I was refining the look and feel of the book before finally submitting it to the printer. And now, I’m incredibly happy to say… I’ve given birth to my little creation — a children’s mystery book that truly reflects my inner child.

Growing up, I was immersed in Enid Blyton’s world of mysteries and adventures. Ever since then, I’ve always wanted to write a book. I tried a few times during my years in Singapore, but the furthest I ever got was two chapters. Each time, I was pulled away by “noise” — whether from external distractions or my own inner doubts. Today, I find myself living a peaceful and fulfilling life, and perhaps that made all the difference. I was finally able to reconnect with myself and gather the courage to pursue this passion once more. Jet played a huge role in that — quite literally getting my lazy bum off the couch and pushing me forward. This book is a fictional children’s mystery story inspired by a real-life event that happened at Soul Made Oasis. Through its pages, you’ll also catch glimpses of my life here in Australia.

I may have jumped the gun a little — I haven’t even started selling the first book, and I’m already writing the second and planning the third. At this point, I can clearly see this becoming a trilogy. Truthfully, I don’t really see myself as a writer. I see myself more as a manifester— someone who plants an idea, nurtures it, and watches it grow into something meaningful through love, care, and patience. Once I started writing, I couldn’t stop. It felt as if the universe had given me its blessing — along with a burst of energy. The words flowed effortlessly. Things I thought I had forgotten came back to me. Things I once believed were impossible suddenly became possible. At the peak of the process, the line between reality and imagination became beautifully blurred. I wasn’t sure whether I was creating the characters, or if they were guiding me. But it didn’t matter. Both Ace Heart in the story and Ace P**n in real life were fully immersed in the joy of it all.

Life is transient and ever-changing. So why not flow with it — and shine in your own unique way?

I am deeply grateful for the love and support from all of you. I step into this journey without fear or regret, with the intention of sharing wisdom, love, kindness, compassion, and empathy. Your support would mean the world to me, but regardless, I will continue this adventure and see it through. As I set sail on this exciting new chapter, I invite you to look within and reconnect with your own inner child. And if you feel ready… come on board this journey with me.
