B’town Kids is getting a little glow‑up, and we’d love your help choosing the perfect wallpaper for our feature wall. Your ideas always inspire us, so we’re opening the floor to our wonderful community.

A few things to keep in mind:
• It’s a small space, and parts of the wall will be covered, so large single‑image prints won’t suit.
• Traditional wallpaper only (no peel‑and‑stick).
• Our fixtures will stay white and timber, so the wallpaper should complement that look.
• It must be available within Australia.
• We’ve gathered some inspiration, but we’re excited to see something we may not have thought of yet.

To our valued customers

You may have noticed that our door is still open at the Village Square. We can now share officially that we’ve decided to stay and have signed a new lease for at least two more years.

Thank you for the overwhelming support and kindness you’ve shown while we worked through some difficult decisions. Running a small business affects family life, wellbeing and future security — it’s never “just another retail shop”. Most people have been incredibly respectful of that, and we’re truly grateful.

To everyone who encouraged us to stay, your words meant more than you know. We’ve poured our hearts into shaping B’town Kids over the past three years and knowing you love the direction we’ve taken was a major part of our decision.

We’re always open to constructive feedback and will soon be asking for your ideas as we plan a much‑needed “freshen up” — with a fun little competition included. We’ll need to vacate the store briefly during this project and will keep you updated.

We’ll continue trading four days a week — Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Monday — with core hours of 10–4pm, plus occasional Sundays and extended hours before major holidays. Keeping most Sundays for family time and personal commitments was essential for us.

Despite rising costs, we’re committed to the principles we set three years ago: a local on the spot discount that gives back to the community, no EFTPOS fees, complimentary local delivery, gift wrapping and generous VIP rewards — all backed by good old‑fashioned customer service.

As B’town Kids enters its 11th year in the Bungendore Village Square, we hope you’ll continue supporting us as proudly as we’re committed to serving you.
