National Wildlife Day is an annual observance on September 4 that promotes awareness, conservation, and protection of wildlife around the world.

National Wildlife Day was established in 2005 by Colleen Paige in honor of the late wildlife conservationist Steve Irwin, famously known as the "Crocodile Hunter".

The day encourages people to recognize the importance of wildlife, particularly endangered species, and to take action to preserve their habitats and ensure ecological balance.

It highlights the critical role animals and plants play in maintaining biodiversity and the health of ecosystems. 🫶

WE ARE OPEN! 😍

Our glow up is almost complete and we're officially back in action - even if we're still in organising mode. The last two and a bit weeks have truly taken a village, and we're so grateful for every tradie and every helping hand that made this transformation possible.

We can't wait to welcome our lovely customers back into the store... and hopefully meet some new faces too. The doors are open and we're excited for this fresh chapter at B'town Kids.

We'd also like to take a moment to announce the winner of our Wallpaper Competition - Linda M. from Hoskinstown! We chose Bees In The Bottlebrush by Canberra designer Tamara Schneider (Tamara Design Co) for its stunning detail and its beautiful Australian country vibe, perfectly befitting our lovely town of Bungendore. It will make such a gorgeous backdrop in the store. Thankyou Linda and Tamara, we love it! 🫶
