Behind every colourful poncho is a mum sitting at her desk trying to figure it all out 😂🤍

I am a mum of two, learning how to run a business in real time. Some days I feel like I have it together. Most days I am reading manuals and Googling things at midnight.

But this quote stopped me today and I needed to share it with anyone else who needs to hear it.

“You’re not behind. You’re just earlier in your journey than you expected to be.”

We are all figuring it out. And that is more than enough 🌊🤍

Navi Baby has been named Outstanding New Business at the 2026 Northern Districts Local Business Awards and I genuinely cannot stop crying.

I started this brand as a solo mum with a dream to bring colour to every little one’s swim life. No team. No investors. Just pure love for what we do and the most incredible community cheering us on.

This one is for every mum who believed in us, every little one who wore our ponchos and every single person who has ever shared, liked, commented or shopped with Navi Baby. You did this with us 🤍

Last weekend Navi Baby took on One Fine Baby Expo and honestly — what a ride! our stall come to life, meeting so many incredible families and seeing little ones try on our ponchos IRL was everything we dreamed of and more 🤍

POV: You’re carrying the swim bag, the water bottle, the goggles, the snacks… and now a freezing child too 🥶

Winter swim lessons might be indoors, but the walk from the pool to the car feels colder than ever.

As a swim mum myself, this was exactly the problem I wanted to solve.

Our Zipped Hooded Poncho Towels stay on, keep little swimmers covered, and make those post-swim dashes to the car a whole lot easier.

We still can’t quite believe we’re writing this… 🤍

Navi Baby has been selected as a finalist in the Local Business Awards.

What started as an idea between school drop-offs, swimming lessons, late nights, and family life has grown into something we are incredibly proud of.

Every order, every comment, every share, every market visit, and every recommendation has helped us get here.
