🎼🎼Spring is in the air everywhere I look around!🌻💃
And with it comes my new line of clothing for these wonderful warm months ahead…. yay
The gorgeous Snuggle and Cuddle Pant and Beanie Combo went so well, (actually I think it was more the May Gibbs fabric) that I have decided to repeat these wonderfully beautiful Australiana fabrics into some rather cute Ra Ra Skirts and Headbands.
Almost time to get your little ones out of those onesies and into these little darlings.

Denim and lace is a bit like sugar and spice…… nice

On May 20th 1873 Levi Strauss began marketing denim work pants that featured copper rivets (later they became known as Blue Jeans)
I wonder if he ever imagined 149 years later the Blue Jean industry would advance to everyday wear in the form of dress and casual jeans, (some with half the bum missing and the crutch at the knee’s 😂😂😂) skirts, shirts, jackets and vests and shorts, I have even seen bikinis made from denim.
Add to it your own touch ..…. In my case, lace I have collected over many years (making it almost vintage 😆) and maybe a bit of gingham every now and then.

My Favorite Things.

Since my last post I have been busy working on a new range of dresses for the girls.
I’m just putting the finishing touches to them before they go on display/sale at Origins Market on Thursday.
Who of you are familiar with, ‘The Sound Of Music’, my all time fav movie from when I was a very much younger me! I will never stop loving this pure and heart-warming story.
I remember Maria drawing inspiration from the elegant drapes hanging in the grand house and seeing the girls hanging out of the trees and riding bikes in these converted drapes.
As I was putting together these rather cute dresses, I couldn’t help but feel a bit nostalgic. A mix of fabrics, colours and style got me daydreaming and the hills became alive with inspiration …… And all will be revealed….

Phew……. Finally found time to do an update on The Thread Teller.
I have been a lot like Peter Rabbit, hopping all over the place with many baskets full with wonderful treats for your precious ones.
The Peta Bunnies have been a real hit and are hopping out the door quicker than I can make them.
And I had so much fun sourcing the fabrics for the pant/beanie combo, see if you can spot the theme I had in mind.
Oh and I must mention the new colourful headbands for just $10.00 each.
Origins Market has been abuzz, (pardon the pun, anyone that has been there will know what I am referring too) with so many new creative peeps joining us, the late-night trading on Friday and Saturday nights, and we are open 7 days over the school holidays.
With the change in temperature, I have been pondering what to release for these cooler days ahead of us……. so excited to be launching a new range in about two weeks …... make sure you stay posted!
Until then, bee busy, …… a clue as to why Origins is abuzz

My heart still jumps a beat or two when I hear the lovely compliments and often a story about the lucky little child who is about to receive one of my gorgeous creations.

I feel so extremely fortunate to be a part of your special one’s journey in this way.
