Hello Caboolture community,

I’m new to the area after the rental crisis forced me to leave the place I grew up and have always called home. As a single mum, the past year has been a whirlwind — settling into a new area, adjusting with my family, and now facing another challenge.

Six months into our lease, we found out our rental was going up for sale. After constant open houses, it’s now been sold to an owner-occupier. Thankfully, we can stay until our lease ends, but after living in my last rentals for 6 and 10 years, I had hoped to re-sign and put down roots again. Instead, I now need to prepare for another move — which could mean a new school for my children, extra expenses, and saving hard for what’s next. On top of that, I’m also in urgent need of a more reliable car to keep driving my autistic adult child to work on the Sunshine Coast each week.

Now — this isn’t just a “sook.” This is an invitation.
To help ease the financial pressure (and lighten the load for moving day), I’ll be hosting weekly garage sales until we move.

I’ve always dreamed of opening a second-hand clothing store, but life and health challenges have delayed those plans. So instead, I’ve pulled everything together for this sale — with a wide range of clothing for all ages, men and women, in all sizes.
