Some of the Kuku Bulkaway fashions we created this year during my time in Cooktown. The first photo shows this gorgeous suit by Lauren Bowyer featuring the famous Quinkin rock art designs and honours her connection to the Laura area. Behind that is the Kuyalin mangrove shell design dress by Joyce Henderson. The other outfits in the second photo are Fish design by Mariska Hale, Diwan Bush Turkey by Zeila Wallace and Stingray by Irene Bowyer. Kuku Bulkaway will be presenting their fashion at the Country to Couture Runway show and at the Darwin Aboriginal Art Fair in less than two weeks.
