VF❤️.. meanwhile back at the ranch 😁 ( my little workroom) talking very nicely to my machines 😁.. sampling and making more limited edition pieces which will be available when my pop shop opens at in July/Aug 2026 . Dates TBA later.. happy Sunday whatever you get up too . I will be happily creating 😘

VF❤️Pop up Shop #10 prep in my workroom.. A top week ( pardon the pun) 😁.. teamed with my clean white bengaline Gidget skirt .. limited editions . A lot of placement cutting .. pop up shop July/Aug 2026 … available instore when I open 😁..

VF❤️Travelog India 🇮🇳 . here we are on South Goa .. our last stop before heading home . Agonda beach was so relaxing .. especially after such a heady chaotic , crazy , exciting adventure up north ..
India 🇮🇳 like riding a wave , sometimes we stayed on and other times we ended up with the whitewash ready to get up and go again ..certainly sensory , surprisingly and humbling .. coming home .. cup full of gratitude 🙏 we have met so many lovely people along the way ☺️
Now to get this Pop up #10 happening 😁. Thx for coming along on my Travelog 😘

VF❤️.. Travelog .. India .. South Goa . We stayed at a beautifully restored Portuguese house in the village of Curtorim.. ( so many beautiful Portuguese houses here ) a quiet reflective stay .. there was a lake which is home to migrating birds and also the odd water buffalo.. the early morning walk was the special highlight…was so different from our other stays . The staff are local from the villages and were so lovely .. the bedroom was beautiful.. the bed was so high that we had a step . Climbing into bed .. another level .. 😁.. next stop is at Agonda beach for a few nights before heading home .. India is full of contrast 🇮🇳🙏❤️….

VF❤️Travelog India South Goa . After a night in our cabin in forest we travelled an hour south to stay at a guesthouse on the Sal river . We took a boat across the river .. Vishna and her Dada took us over in their boat .. such lovely people . Vishna had such a pure unaffected soul in many ways ☺️Betul beach .. A beautiful long stretch of sand . The sand squeaked under our feet . walked and found a quiet patch to enjoy the sunset . Our one night gave us such a glimpse into this fishing village . The staff Sonia and Surender were so friendly… A very memorable fleeting one night .. next place is a 250 year old mansion in the countryside… Goa ☺️🙏❤️

VF❤️Travelog India Goa . After Fort Tiracol we made our way to a place in the forest called Mojigao.. near Assasao village .. a very cool place .. great food , lots of alternate things to do ( yoga , art , meditation etc .. ) . In the restaurant there was art everywhere by local artists . The French waitress was delightful. Moved here 8 years ago with her partner .. A very brief overnight stop ..our little cabin was very comfortable.. lots of mozzies .. lots of repellent 😁.. next stop was a place south of the capital of Panaji .. A fishing Village on the Sal River .. 🇮🇳❤️Goa is so interesting.. ☺️

VF❤️Travelog India .. Goa in the south . After a heady , hectic amazing 12 days on the road ( what a trip ! ) . We said farewell 😞to Mr Satvinder our driver and flew down to Goa . First stop was Tiracol in north Goa . We stayed at an old Portuguese Fort which was now a small hotel ( we stayed here 2 years ago ☺️) .. the Church in the courtyard is divine . Built mid 1700’s .. We were there on a Sunday so the whole village came to worship .. all the ladies dressed in such blingy dresses and the men in crisp white shirts and long pants . We could hear the beautiful singing but did not feel right to participate.
The staff here were so lovely .. and they all remembered us ☺️.. … we took a day trip on the ferry across the river to Querim Beach .. this place is so honest , no frills , lovely beach shack owners who were so helpful . This place hadn’t changed much in 2 years .. A truly memorable few nights , next stop in further down south .. a little resort in the Jungle .. see you next post ☺️🇮🇳🙏❤️ from tropical Goa

VF❤️. Travelog . We left Amritsar and headed toward the modern city of Chandigrah . The capital of Punjab and neighbouring Haryana . Designed by French architect Le Corbusier. It is a grid designed city with sectors .. didn’t feel like India at all ( too clean and ordered ) .. Streets of mansions , clean and ordered ( home to the wealthy and high court commissioners, successful business people ) . Many Bollywood movie stars live here and we actually stayed at a guesthouse owned by an actor . He was previously a merchant sailor and had even visited Weipa and Mackay … .. such a lovely guy . He had acted in 76 movies ( that must be a record ! ) . He like to be called Dan .. who at breakfast was very chatty and interesting . He loved art from all over the world and had a passion for fine porcelain.. such a exquisite collection.. …….. but ….. before that we had the special opportunity of an invite to our driver Mr Satvinders farm house home in Punjab . We met his lovely family . Had delicious home cooked food , sat on the roof with masala chai and enjoyed his wedding album . Such a memorable afternoon with heartfelt hospitality.. we felt touched indeed .Next day back on the road to Delhi Airport ☺️… what an adventure .. now to fly to down Goa to relax 😁🇮🇳🙏❤️

VF❤️Travelog.. Northern India . Amritsar . So many pics 😁🥹. This place is centre of the Sikh religion with thousands of worshippers visiting the Golden Temple . It was built in the 1600’s and was adorned with gold in the early 1800’s. They welcome everyone here . Have a kitchen that literally feeds thousands and all worked by volunteers. The food is free and anyone from rich or poor can take this offering . A very busy kitchen and is very synchronised . I had a go at making chapati and these 2 women wanted a photo and wouldn’t let me go 😂😁.. we walked around the lake and felt comfortable being in such a foreign place . We even went back again in the evening to see the temple bathed in lights .. the memorial garden had a tragic past with so thousands of innocent people by the British Army in 1919 . . The Indians were seeking independence at this time . …. The independence and the partition became very cruel between Punjab and Pakistan in 1949 .. I truly had no idea .. so many lives lost … Amritsar is a lively , dusty , crazy , battered town and we were lucky to find an oasis in Ranjits Svaasa . A beautifully restored home with exquisite furnishings and memorabilia.
The gentle fragrance of insense wafted throughout the property. We met the owner Ranjit and her 2 dogs a Labrador and a daschound . We had a tour through the university.. the buildings amazing !
Saw a play rehearsal in the main auditorium r . After wards we went to the Wagah border ceremony on the Pakistan border.. lots of dancing and marching .. their uniforms were beautiful. I like the spats a lot .. they used to open the gates and shake handsbut now the gates remain closed closed ( due to what happened last April)
Next day we went on a farm tour . Well what can I say .. loads of fun .. this family … dancing .. eating home cooked food .. turban tying .. the tractor ride … dancing to the boombox karaoke machine . Fun fact Sikh community is 2 % of India and that is 30 million !
