Publisher Textiles & Papers Publisher Textiles & Papers Publisher Textiles is all about doing it the hard way, by hand.

Using traditional hand screen printing techniques and small-scale production we create bold, colourful and irreverent designs. As a small team we produce everything in house, from the printing to the sewing. All our screens and water based inks are 100% Australian made and we work hard to keep everything local and support other small businesses. In a world where most things are outsourced and mass-produced, we believe in making by hand, our tactile antidote to an impersonal world.

Mark has spent the past 2 weeks up on Badu Island running a printing workshop, teaching new techniques for creating new designs, exposing screens and printing lengths of fabric.
He's been super busy but has sent me down some beautiful snippets to share on here. Can't wait to have hi back next week to hear all about it properly!
