story and hence I started this business in 2021 when the pandemic hit us hard . We wanted some connection back home. Our international borders were closed for over 18 months and we felt very disconnected with our loved ones and Mother India. After a few years of agony and await I was able to establish my love for sarees in the form of business. Every single time I have someone to talk about the saree or show them what I possess it brought immense joy and sense of completion. The compliments that I get from my friends every time I wore a saree hyped my interest in sarees. Now coming to the core of my business Kanjeevaram - this has a heritage of over 150 years of weaving the renowned silk sarees that is a must have for any women who inherits from India. My dream is to make every women in Australia be equipped with the attire in every traditional celebration of their life. As a mother of two kids and working full time I am still able to make a valuable amount of time for this purely because of my love for sarees. Inheriting from a family of business for sarees to be honest its in my blood. I own over 100 sarees in my wardrobe and use every opportunity to wear them when everyone chooses to wear a western outfit instead.
