Happy Father’s Day to the dads doing the picking, carrying, chasing, snack supplying and all the little things in between. 🍓

To the tiny hands sneaking strawberries straight from the patch, the dads pretending they didn’t see it, and the clothes that come home with a few marks set for the Sard stick and a much better story.

Because around here, we don’t think kids’ clothes are meant to stay perfect - when memories are being made.

They’re meant for strawberry stains.
For muddy knees.
For shoulders when little legs get tired.
For ordinary Sundays that somehow become the memories you keep forever.

And when they’re outgrown, we love that those clothes get to go around again and be part of someone else’s story.

Saturday, 9.30am to 12.30pm.

Come say hi to Anna and have a little Saturday rummage. There are loads of very cute finds waiting to be discovered, with plenty of new pieces hitting the racks.

A little reminder before you pack the car: appraisals are closed for September, so we won’t be accepting any drop-offs tomorrow.

Meet Charlie + Tilly.

Together, they’re Chilly. 🥹

Twin sisters, born to share almost everything.

Toys. Snacks. Mum’s attention. And, very conveniently, a wardrobe.

Charlie wears it.
Tilly wears it.
Then it can come to TLCco and another little person gets their turn.

One little outfit. Three little childhoods.

And that right there is why we love circular fashion. The beautiful stuff doesn’t have to be loved once. It can keep going, from one little story to the next.

WE’RE ALMOST THERE 👀

You might notice things look a little different around here. We’re making some tweaks, moving things around and getting the new TLCco online store ready to go.

While we’re not quite at full launch yet, the first wave has officially landed.

Sleep sacks are now loading, starting with a big drop of Love to Dream 1.0 TOG, just in time for warmer nights.

And we’re only getting started.

More sleep sacks will be added over the coming days, along with new circular treasures as we work our way through the racks.

And because we can’t help ourselves, you might even spot the occasional Peter Alexander PJ set sneaking in too.

Keep checking back. There’s a LOT coming.

You might notice things look a little different around here. We’re making some tweaks, moving things around and getting the new TLCco online store ready to go.

Apparently we’ve been gatekeeping this.

Which was not intentional. We’re just notoriously bad at remembering to tell you about all the things we do. 😂

This is our $2 Fun Finds rack.

And yes. Everything is actually $2.

Beautiful brands. Great pieces. Absolutely nothing sinister lurking behind the price tag.

We simply want them to move.

Onto another hanger. Into another wardrobe. Onto another little person. And eventually, hopefully, around again.

Because the whole point of circular fashion is the circular bit.

And sometimes the best thing we can do with a perfectly good piece of clothing is price it at $2 and watch it walk straight back out the door.

You’ll also find $2 books, toys and other tiny treasures hanging around because, as usual, we’ve taken the concept and run with it.

Good clothes. Ridiculous price. Another chapter.

Some people see a pile of clothes. We see what happens next. 🤎

The response to our Buy-Back Program continues to absolutely overwhelm us — in the very best way.

Yes, right now our appraisal room looks a little like this. 😅

But this isn’t just a pile of clothes waiting to be sorted.

It’s tiny knits that are about to keep another little person warm.

Outfits that have already been part of one childhood, ready to become part of another.
Beautiful pieces staying in circulation instead of becoming waste.

It’s new chapters, new stories and clothes getting to do what they were made to do — be worn and loved.

And it’s money going back into the pockets of local families.

So far in 2026 alone, we’ve returned more than $35,000 in TLCco credit to families through our Buy-Back Program. 🤯

That number feels particularly special during our birthday month.

Because when we started TLCco, the idea was actually pretty simple: beautiful children’s clothing shouldn’t have to have just one life.

Two years later, you keep proving just how powerful that idea can be.

So yes… our appraisal pile is currently slightly unhinged. 😂
But we wouldn’t have it any other way.

Our little team appraises thousands of pieces every single week, and having everyone on the same page means we can keep turnaround times fast and spend our time doing what we do best — getting beautiful children’s clothing back into the hands of the next family. ♻️

✨ A few of the big ones:

🤍 Maximum 50 items per customer, per week. Quality over quantity always.

🤍 Boutique & quality brands only. We don’t accept fast fashion through our Buy-Back Program (think Kmart, Big W, Best & Less, SHEIN, Temu and similar). Our current acceptance list changes monthly, so always check before you pack.

🤍 Freshly washed and sale-ready. Please no stains, holes, broken zips, heavy pilling, strong odours or clothing that’s loved beyond its next chapter.

🤍 And this one’s said with so much love… please don’t bring us:
• one lonely shoe looking for its soulmate 👟
• half-finished romper craft projects 🎨
• bags of textile waste destined for landfill 🗑️

We laugh… but these genuinely arrive almost every day in often commercial volumes.

As a social enterprise, every bag that comes through our doors has to be sorted thoughtfully. Disposing of items we can’t accept takes our small team time, costs us money, and ultimately means less time and fewer resources going back into the families and community we exist to support.

We’re not trying to be difficult—we’re trying to protect a circular economy that actually works. 💛

We’re so excited to officially welcome Jade to the TLCco family. 🤍

Jade is a local mum, a fashion designer, and someone who believes just as deeply as we do that beautiful children’s clothing deserves more than one story. Her love for circular fashion, thoughtful design and community made her feel right at home from the very beginning.

If you’re popping into the store today, make sure you say hello! You’ll find Jade and Anna busy restocking the racks as quickly as humanly possible, getting all those beautiful new arrivals out for you to discover.

I wish I could bottle the feeling in here today…

So many of you bringing in pieces that still have so much life left in them, and so many others finding exactly what they didn’t even know they needed.

It’s simple, really… when it’s done with care, it just makes sense.

This is what sustainability looks like when it’s built on community 🤍
