This was the lucky last little made to measure frock that was finished before closing down my gorgeous Bundanoon studio.
And whilst there is nothing tricky or complicated or cutting edge about this dress. It is all about feeling good and wearing it daily. There lots of love in these little simple shapes. Cut from the prettiest of and already on high rotation in its new owners home.
The studio is closed now that we are set up in Canberra but... I am working from The Southern Highlands once a fortnight during school terms. So please get in touch for all things stitched, is now covering the Southernhighlands to Canberra.

So much joy getting to work on this vintage Dior couture gown. 🙌🏻✨🥰 I went over it with a fine tooth comb and carefully repaired by hand any flaws on the silk, there were small tears and some seams that had frayed.
Purchased as a surprise birthday gift the gown needed a little love and a gentle steam and press to make it ready.
I couldn’t help imagining what it must be like creating garments in one of the worlds finest couture ateliers, the skill and artistry are enviable.

I’ve been so busy in the studio lately that I feel I have completely neglected all of you over here in the socials!!! I’ve missed you but boy have I been sewing up a storm.
I was really pleased with how well this custom order shirt turned out. I can’t fault the beaut floral from such a pleasure to sew 🧵💙

This little make slipped by quietly without an announcement.... grey slubby linen outer with a silk lining and vintage button front. Very simple easy to wear transseasonal jacket.

I had a beautiful moment recently when I was wearing one of my own dresses to do the coffee run, when a stranger noticed it. Stranger is now my new client and ordered this little easy to wear frock like mine 🙌🏻✨
I sent her home to her new owner today! Lovely fabric from sewed up beautifully, the print reminds me of a pebbly creek bed.
