In 1936, Ken Cook opened his first fine menswear store in Manuka, Canberra. In doing so he set a standard in men’s clothing that is yet to be surpassed. Ken Cook concentrated exclusively on men’s quality clothing, specialised tailoring and superior service. Over the years Ken Cook opened a number of stores in Canberra namely in Manuka, Kingston and Civic. These stores cemented Ken Cook’s status as

the destination store for the well-dressed/distinguished gentleman and the aspiring young man/professional visiting or residing in Canberra. The same standard established by Ken Cook in the 1930s remains today after all these years. Ken’s son, Robert Cook, preserved this standard when he took over in 1970. Over the past decade Mark Cook (since early 2000) has followed in his father’s footsteps, continuing the family legacy - A standard of service backed by years of dedication and experience. Ken Cook prides itself in offering sophisticated clothes personally selected from collections of European specialists and labels.
