2 - Kim Gordon: Keller
This volume is an intimate consideration of musician Kim Gordon’s brother’s life and art featuring personal photographs and pages from his journals. Following Keller Gordon’s death in 2023, his sister collected mementos including drawings, photos, poems and the diaries he kept at various stages of lucidity. Through Kim’s prose and Keller’s own words, ‘Keller’ extends and destabilises the form of the biography, foregrounding the fragmented and the imperfect.
Kim Gordon is an artist and cofounding member of the bands Sonic Youth and Body/Head, and the author of the memoir ‘Girl in a Band’.
3 - Aqua Nullius: First Nations Water Rights in Australia
This book focuses on the concept of aqua nullius, the attempted application of the falsehood of terra nullius to water. The book highlights the voices of First Nations people interviewed from across Australia about their cultural relationships to water. This is a publication of over 20 interviews structured around four key themes: storytelling, water injustice, First Nations water management, and overturning aqua nullius.“
