After a huge week here at Fluturi today was a self love kind of day to reset, enjoy the almost Spring sunshine and ready myself for the sewing week ahead. I tried to have a whole day of no work alas I lasted til 3.30 and then decided I wanted to cut out some of my makings for this week. The restful slow day I had today has replenished my creativity for the week ahead.

Yesterday Salamanca Market I released these rompers. They are special to Fluturi because they use my first foray into fabric design. I’m so proud of how the fabric turned out and how well my very Tasmanian rompers turned out. They were a hit yesterday and sold out. I will be making more this week to bring back to Salamanca Market next Saturday. If you aren’t in Tassie but would like one of these playful rompers please do send me a message.

It’s here it’s finally here. This is my very first go at fabric design. I’m so pleased with how it turned out. Soon to be rompers, hats, skirts and shorts. I’d love to know what you think of my very Tasmanian fabric. I can’t wait to bring it to Salamanca Market very soon.

This gorgeous pile of ironing is a big new batch of rompers to be released later this year. This represents 2.5 hours of ironing various parts of the romper and the romper during assembly too, and this is just the size 2 pile! Thank goodness I have a great audio book to keep me company as I work through this pile!

It was so lovely to meet more new faces this week at Salamanca. But my favourite part of the day was having the gorgeous sunshine beaming into my stall. Happily I’m back in Site 5 again next week.
