Sometimes the most important part of the build happens when the tools are down.

We stick to the 6 P’s when building cars:

Prior Proper Planning Prevents Poor Performance.

Every build has a plan, and every step has a purpose. Because when you’re chasing this level of finish, the difference is always in the details.

What started as rust repairs has now become a full rotisserie Resto Mod build, giving us the opportunity to rebuild this LC from the ground up and create the Torana Tim has always dreamed of owning.

After taking the quarters back to bare metal, we started uncovering the vehicle’s history including some interesting “repairs” left behind by previous panel shops.

It’s probably one of the hardest parts of our job, having to call the client and explain that what’s hiding underneath is far more extensive than anyone expected.
But that conversation also changed the direction of this build and we are excited for the next chapter.

THE FINISHED PRODUCT

We recently finished up ’s Crown Royal Saloon, getting it sitting right and looking show ready.

We took care of:
• Quarter & fender repairs
• Rear guards massaged for extra clearance to get it sitting lower
• Colour matched & painted quarters, fenders and roof moulds
• PDR on the roof
•Full 3-stage paint correction & polish

The end result — sitting lower, looking sharp and ready for show day.

Early Sunday mornings. Workshop doors open. Another step closer.

Zac's LS400 has officially been spline blocked, refined and sealed in DNA HS High Fill Primer.

Now it's time to let the primer fully cure before we begin the meticulous preparation that leads into paint.
The colour gets all the attention, but it's the foundation underneath that makes a truly show-quality finish.

The next chapter of the Ebisu Nissan S15.

After transforming the rest of the vehicle, it was only fitting that the bay received the same level of attention.

With extensive rust hiding throughout, we stripped it back and started again.

• Tubbed front end
• Both fender supports replaced
• Extensive rust repairs
• Clean, minimalist shave throughout

With the fabrication now complete, it's time for the next chapter...Prep and paint!

What colour has been chosen you’ll have to keep your eyes peeled .

Sam's Toyota Crown came to us after previous guard rolling had left the front guards and rear quarters weakened, with split factory seams that had already started trapping moisture and creating rust.

We straightened and repaired the damaged front guards and rear quarters, reinforced the repaired areas to restore strength, hammered and reshaped the inner wheel tubs, and clearanced the rear quarters to give the suspension the room it needs to lay even lower without compromising the body.

At Committed, we don't believe in shortcuts. Every modification is built with longevity, strength and finish in mind, so our clients can enjoy their cars without worrying about hidden issues down the track.

It’s finally that time.

After five years of fabrication, metal work and countless late nights, Zac’s LS400 is officially entering the paint phase.

Every panel on this car has been customised, reworked or hand-fabricated everything except the roof.

We’re incredibly excited to welcome DNA Paints as an official sponsor on the build. Having them behind this project means a lot, and we’re looking forward to showcasing what we can achieve together.

The next chapter is all about perfection.
The car will undergo multiple rounds of splining, blocking and high-build primer before final paint preparation. It’s a long and demanding process, but that’s what it takes to produce a paint finish worthy of a show car.

We’ve got a reveal date locked in...

Now it’s time to make it happen.

Stay tuned!!!

Today marks the start of a new chapter as I officially go full-time with Committed Composites & Bodywork.

What started as a passion after hours has grown into something I never imagined. The early mornings, late nights, long weekends and countless hours have all led to this moment.

I want to say a huge thank you to every client who has trusted us with their build, every person who has shared our work, recommended us, bought merch or simply supported us along the way. Every bit of support has meant the world.

We've got some incredible builds lined up, exciting plans for the future and we'll continue striving to deliver the highest standard of craftsmanship on every project that comes through our doors.

Thank you all for believing in the dream.

Pete's Nissan Stagea came to us after some less-than-ideal repairs in the past.

After a thorough inspection, we made the call to strip the car back to bare metal so we could properly assess the condition and build it back the right way. Using the Glasurit Restoration Process, we know this one is built to last.

The Stagea needed extensive rust repairs throughout the roof, tail light panels, front doors, lower windscreen area, and tailgate recess.

The fibreglass was no different. The front bar alone had over 20 layers of old repairs, with fibreglass laid over filler and even dirt in some areas. We stripped it right back, repaired all the damage correctly, reinforced the affected areas, and sealed everything in epoxy. This repair will keep things moving until the new front bar arrives.

A lot of work goes into a restoration long before the paint goes on, but getting the foundations right is what separates a quality build from a quick fix.
Now it's off to Dennis Panel & Paint for the next chapter, where the boys will work their magic and lay down the factory Bayside Blue finish.

Stay tuned !!!
