New 18" drumbags x two
Purple sort of Indigo canvas crossbody adjustable feature fabric strap, polar fleece lining and all topstitched for style and strength.
Lovingly embellished with leftover tapestry fabric or aboriginal dot fabric and some rick rack.

Hot off the sewing machine yesterday!
The light was bad so I've waited till this morning to take the photos but even so the colour seems a bit different, oh well here they are 🙏
Love the similarity to drum lacing with this lovely Jocelyn Proust print, it's almost as though it's designed especially for me to make drum bags hehe😄
All the usual inclusions - sturdy stiffener sewn between the outer and inner layers of polar fleece lining and J.P printed fabric, topstitching for extra strength and crisp finish but this time I thought I'd use the polar fleece on the back of the adjustable crossbody strap and on the smaller 15"/16" bag I've trialled it on the back of the flap. Let me know what you think, do you like it?
I've gone with the black bias binding finish on the flaps with these two bags, looks a bit snazzy don't you think?
The larger bag is for an 18" drum

I've used this fabric one time before but with different accents.
The flower motif kind of resembles the back of the drum.
I love Jocelyn Proust prints, they are so cheerful and what ever I make with looks good.
This bag is a big one for and 18" drum.
The crossbody adjustable strap has an apple green linen binding, a slightly different version than I normally do. Finished with the bronze buckle to adjust to your size.
The same apple green linen is used on the underside of the flap.
Dark mauve polar fleece for the lining inside as well as being sturdily reinforced with the stiffener between the layers and topstitched for extra strength on all seams.
